How gorgeous is this little face!!
I had the pleasure of meeting little Matilda a month ago when her and her lovely parents come to stay. She is just a whole bunch of cuteness.
So a cute thank you card it had to be.
If you have just welcomed a new little bundle into your family and need a thank you card, get in touch.

Mel + Todd {wedding invite}
I have been a little slack at getting this one on the blog. Melissa + Todd are getting married in one week!! I have loved working with this bride and groom on all the little details of their wedding. It's going to be all sorts of amazing. Will definitely be sharing some of the photos afterwards.
I loved how this invite incorporated all the details in one concertina format.
Their sweet little logo was taken from their Save the date and will be incorporated into a few bits and pieces on the day.
Congratulations Mel + Todd, looking forward to celebrating with you both next week!!
If you are getting married soon and want a bespoke stationery design for your big day, please get in touch.

Myeesha {fourth birthday}
How fun does this party sound?! A Neverland party where you dress up as your favourite fairy or pirate. Oh to be four again.
Little Myeesha will be partying it up with all her fellow fairies and pirates next Saturday. I cannot wait to see the photos.
Is your little one have a birthday soon? Need invites? Please get in touch.

Rachel + Chris {Save the Date}
Now guys, this is a love story in a half!!
I met with Rachel for a champagne at Cumulus Up in Melbourne just before I left to discuss the stationery for her wedding. These two need to write a novel about how they got together. I actually almost teared up when she was telling me!! But long story short ...
Chris and Rachel had known each other for years before they realised that they were meant for each other. They met through Rachel's brother, moved to separate countries, decided to go on an overseas trip together, realised they had feelings for each other, then finally Chris moved to Melbourne and the rest is history.
Their first official date was in the Melbourne Botanical Gardens, so it seemed fitting to have the wedding there too. Chris and Rachel wanted a Save the Date they could send to their friends and family that would be travelling for the wedding. They wanted the design to reflect the gardens, incorporate their silhouettes and also the birds that were fluttering around when Chris proposed.
They inserted an info sheet in with the Save the Date magnet letting people know the best places to stay in Melbourne.
Rachel is the most organised bride I have ever met!! She has already chosen her dress, what the bridesmaids are wearing, the flowers, the celebrant and I think music is pretty sorted too. And it's a year away!!
Cannot wait to start designing the rest of the stationery suite for Chris and Rachel's big day.
LOVE xx

My favourites from Vietnam
I have finally gotten around to getting all the photos off my cameras of our trip to South East Asia from December. We went in between leaving Melbourne, after three and a half years, to moving back to New Zealand. It was so nice going through them all and remembering all the amazing sights we saw and the fun we had.
Highly recommend this glorious country. If you ever need any travel tips, I have tons!!! So get in touch. Will post some photos from Cambodia soon. Keep a look out.
Here are some of my favourite pics:

Colour inspiration {rustic greens}
At The Blushing Teacup we find choosing a colour palette a great first step when planning an event. You probably have a gazillion ideas so this helps bring them altogether into one amazing package.
Get inspired by our colour inspiration palettes. Rustic greens look great combined with natural woods, some creamy whites and a touch of navy and brass.

Left to right:
- Bouquet of greenery with a single creamy flower - love the wild gathered look
- Hand painted invitation - so gorgeous
- Drink dispensers - how delicious do those drinks look
- Stunning ceremony backdrop - all I can say is AMAZING
- Old stable doors dressed with flowers - perfect spot for a kiss
- Table seating plan - I love this
- Table decorations - brassy gold also looks great with the rustic greens
- Cake with olive leaf and roses - yum
- Buttonholes - love the textures
- Dessert table - how gorgeous is the big heart wreath
- Table setting - the navy table cloth is so good
